Dislocation is a series that explores the idea of disrupting a set order or system. Inspired by a relocation, the work reflects a shift in environment and in identity. While the process of assimilation into a new surrounding is commonplace, it is equally a profound experience worthy of examination. Each piece creates a sense of change within a constant—something logical becomes illogical—something organized becomes organic.
